Nooruddin Kamruddin Shaikh

Sanaullah’s Abhyudaya journey commenced in 2012 when he joined the Saturday and Sunday classes, eventually earning the title of ‘Sitara’ in 2013. Being recognised as one of the stars among a group of talented individuals was an immense privilege, and he eagerly embraced this new journey of continuous learning. 

“Abhyudaya provided me with diverse platforms through a wide range of sessions and classes, allowing me to explore and discover my individual talents.” 

Engaging in various activities such as yoga, origami, football, computer skills, and painting, Sanaullah participated in events related to each, imbibing the essential lesson of ‘You won’t know until you try it!’ through Abhyudaya’s summer and winter camps, as well as weekend sessions. 

“A notable aspect of my journey was the yearly assignment of mentors who evolved into more than just friends – they offered guidance that persists even today. These mentors motivated me to strive for greatness, foster self-reliance, and explore my areas of interest by steering me in the right direction. Fun outings, sports discussions, and shared jokes contributed to a friendly atmosphere.” 

Beyond academics, Abhyudaya facilitated the exploration of Sanaullah’s passion for sports, and he actively participated in the Football Champions League Junior, guiding the Abhyudaya team to a commendable 2nd position in the league. 

“Every experience at Abhyudaya was novel and unique, instilling a confidence that helps me face challenges and difficulties fearlessly in my current, challenging life. For this, I am immensely grateful to be a Sitara at Abhyudaya.” 

The journey was not easy. Sanaullah encountered a big challenge when selecting the right career path. He had a wide range of interests, but with advice from the Abhyudaya team and his mentors, he received invaluable assistance not only in deciding on career options but also in selecting the right colleges. Abhyudaya went a step further by connecting him with external resources for additional support. Financial constraints were another hurdle, but with guidance and support from Abhyudaya, this never hindered his education. 

“I am thrilled to announce that on January 20, 2024, I had the honour of being felicitated by MESCO Trust for successfully completing my degree with a CGPI of 9.48. This achievement is not only a personal milestone but also a testament to the unwavering support and financial assistance I received from MESCO Trust. I express my heartfelt gratitude to MESCO Trust for its pivotal role in my educational journey. Their support has been a source of motivation and encouragement throughout my academic pursuits. A special acknowledgement goes to Abbasali Gabula and Abhyudaya-SPJIMR, whose recommendation played a crucial role in connecting me with MESCO Trust. His guidance and support have been instrumental in shaping my educational path.” 

Sanaullah is currently employed as a Junior Software Developer at Prudence Software Solutions & Analytics Pvt. Ltd., also known as Konnect Insights. “My short-term goal is to continuously enhance my skills in this domain and absorb as much knowledge as possible. In the long run, I aspire to accumulate more experience and venture into service-based work in web/app development, with plans to embark on freelancing soon.”

Sitara Nafisa Dhanani has completed her Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS). She finds herself immersed in the enriching experience of internships under the guidance of esteemed practitioners. 

“My academic and personal growth is highlighted by the pivotal role played by organisations like Abhyudaya.” 

Nafisa started her journey with Abhyudaya in 2011. As an Urdu-medium student, she encountered challenges in mastering English, a language essential for professional growth. 

“Abhyudaya emerged as a guiding light, offering English classes and a diverse range of engaging extracurricular activities such as chess, drawing, and yoga sessions. I not only honed my language skills but also discovered new passions and talents. The impact of Abhyudaya extends beyond my academic enrichment, as I fondly recall the summer and winter camps that enriched my life. These camps provided a platform for holistic development, fostering camaraderie, creativity, and personal growth. I express my heartfelt gratitude to Abhyudaya for nurturing my journey and instilling a sense of confidence and resilience.” 

Nafisa has recently completed her BHMS and now, she is doing a part-time internship at Asher Homoeopathic Clinic to further enhance her skills and understanding of homoeopathic practices. 

“As I continue my learning journey, I remain committed to honing my skills and making a meaningful contribution to the field of homoeopathy. With gratitude in my heart and a sense of purpose in my stride, I look forward to the future with optimism and determination.” 

When Ovesh was in Grade 7, Abhyudaya came into his life like a magical door full of opportunities. His single mother, who worked as a tailor, and his younger sister were his support at home. 

“Even though I was good at my studies, I never really got into any extracurricular stuff. That all changed when I started hanging out with new people at Abhyudaya on weekends and joined sessions for things like art, chess, football, and music. Not only did I pick up these skills, but I also got trained to do well in scholarship exams and actually aced a few.” 

But the game-changer for Ovesh was the mentorship programme. He talks to us about two amazing people, Sai Sunil and Abhimanyu Basu. 

“Sai Sir was the one who told me about IIT Bombay and how I could be a good fit for engineering. He became like family, and we’re still in touch today. While the seed planted by Sai sir inspired me to be an engineer, the actual motivation was provided by Abhimanyu bhaiya.” 

Ovesh did not get very good marks in 10th grade. He was sure he could not enrol in Science in Junior College. But Abhimanyu talked him into it, boosted his confidence, and changed his mind. 

“I owe him big time because I ended up getting a Bachelor’s in Engineering IT with a rank of 4, won various national hackathons, and worked for 2.5 years at Tata Consultancy Services as a Systems Engineer.” 

Currently, Ovesh is doing his Master’s in Engineering, specialising in automation using AI, at McMaster University in Canada and will be joining the Royal Bank of Canada as a Data Engineer. He still chats with Abhimanyu Bhaiya about his career and life choices. 

“Abhyudaya played a huge part in all these achievements, and I want to give back and help current students in the future. They’ve been like a guiding light for me, and I’m grateful for that.”

Tuba’s Journey: From Adversity to Aspiration 

“I vividly remember the day Abhyudaya called me about my selection; receiving that call filled me with joy. I knew this opportunity was going to be the turning point of my life.” 

During her school years, Tuba focused solely on academics and never engaged in extracurricular activities until she joined Abhyudaya. Here, she began learning and playing football, participating in competitive exams involving painting, such as Elementary and Intermediate exams, and learning Warli painting. Tuba benefitted from the mentorship programme and is still in touch with her “Didi”, who helped her enhance her vocabulary, strengthen her mental maths skills and improve her spoken English. 

“Despite initially disliking speaking in front of the class, I now understand its importance in helping me overcome my fear of public speaking and improving my ability to interact with new people, which is crucial in my profession as a nutritionist.” Tuba faced a significant setback. She was preparing for NEET, but due to the COVID-19 lockdown, the exam dates kept getting delayed. Unfortunately, during this time, she was diagnosed with meningitis and hospitalised for nearly two months, causing her to miss the exam. Not wanting to lose a year, she began seeking admission in fields related to medicine. 

“This is the reason why I chose nutrition and dietetics as my career path. I’ll be finishing my B.Sc. in Food Nutrition and Dietetics from S.N.D.T. University in June this year, after completing my internship at Asian Heart Hospital. I’m truly thankful to Abhyudaya, who supported me with the admission procedures during the pandemic.” 

Tuba’s mother is a housewife, her father works in the movie filming business, and her younger sister is preparing for NEET. Tuba is also preparing for entrance exams for a Master’s programme. Additionally, she is planning to study for the MPSC examination in nutrition. “As a budding nutritionist, my aspirations are to continuously expand my knowledge in nutrition science, develop effective communication skills to educate and empower others about healthy eating habits, and make a positive impact on public health.”

“Abhyudaya provided me with a variety of activities like dancing, singing, sports, yoga, painting and computer classes through camps and classes. Through these activities, I built a strong foundation in communication and basic technology.” 

Dhananjay comes from a regional medium school and a middle-class family. His father works in a garage, and his mother takes care of the home and his two brothers and sister. One brother works as a distributor, and the other works in a hospital. Dhananjay dreamed of becoming a doctor, but due to financial constraints, he went into the engineering field. 

“I didn’t get good marks in my 12th Board exam, and I was upset at that time. Abhyudaya conducted an aptitude test, and I was recommended to pursue a paramedical course where I could earn and secure my life.” 

Dhananjay worked for a few years but did not find it fulfilling. So, he decided to go into business and started his own franchise/Centre of Agilus Diagnostics Dr Phadke Labs with a colleague. His aspiration is to start his own medical/nursing home. 

“I’m always thankful for Abhyudaya. Currently, where I’m standing, the credit goes to my parents and the Abhyudaya team.” 

“Years later, I reunited with my Abhyudaya mentor. A General Manager for Philips in the USA, he expressed genuine pride in my achievements. His encouragement reminded me of Abhyudaya’s profound impact on my education, career, and character. The Abhyudaya philosophy of ‘Growing Together’ resonates with me, as I’ve grown from a student in need of guidance to a professional with diverse skills, including HR and resin artistry.” 

“My name is Koyna Harry, and today I stand as a testament to the transformative power of education and mentorship.” 

Koyna lives in Pune with her husband, Prashant, an HR manager, and their baby daughter. She runs a small business, Koyna Creations. Koyna’s journey with Abhyudaya began in the 7th grade when she was unaware of her potential. Opportunities at her government school were scarce, but Abhyudaya changed everything. 

Abhyudaya covered her education expenses and provided unwavering support. With guidance, Koyna secured admission to the 8th standard, overcoming barriers that once seemed insurmountable. “They believed in me when others didn’t, and for that, I am eternally grateful.” 

Abhyudaya enriched Koyna’s life with transformative experiences. From educational trips to specialised classes in computers, dance, and music, Abhyudaya broadened her horizons and nurtured her passions. During her SSC (10th) year, Abhyudaya remained her steadfast support, providing access to top coaching classes and mentors who believed in her and pushed her to excel. Koyna’s proudest moments came when she gave back to Abhyudaya by mentoring students who looked up to her as she once did to her mentors. Teaching resin art to Sitaras during summer camp 2024, she felt immense pride and accomplishment, standing where her journey began. 

“Abhyudaya helped me achieve my dreams and instilled a commitment to pay it forward. I owe everything to Abhyudaya. It gave me hope, belief, and a family of supporters who inspire me daily. The impact is immeasurable, touching countless lives and shaping futures. I am Koyna Harry, a proud Abhyudaya Sitara, forever grateful for the journey that shaped me.” 

“That day changed my life. I saw a photographer clicking pictures and was instantly captivated. When I held a camera for the first time – a Canon 77D-I knew I wanted to become a photographer. The photographer guided me on the basics, and my passion for photography grew from there.” 

Imtiyaz arrived in Mumbai in 2007 with his father, a carpenter, his mother, and three siblings. Shortly after, his mother passed away. He was admitted to a local government school, where his intelligence earned him a double promotion from Class 4 to Class 6. That same year, he was selected for Abhyudaya. 

“When my dad received the call from Abhyudaya, tears welled up in his eyes – he was so proud of me. The interviewers were Ajay and Alka, whom I now call “bhaiya” and “didi”. 

Imtiyaz continued to excel, earning another double promotion from Class 6 to Class 8. At Hastantaran, the event where Abhyudaya assigns mentors to its stars, Imtiyaz met his mentor, Abhinav Pandey, who greatly helped him with Maths. 

“Abhinav bhaiya came home two to three times a month. I’m grateful to him and Abhyudaya for understanding my struggles.” 

Imtiyaz also participated in Sunday classes, where he learned calligraphy, origami, yoga, watched movies, and went on picnics. One Sunday, Abhyudaya organised a Warli painting class. 

Imtiyaz passed Class 10, but then tragedy struck. His father, the family’s sole breadwinner, was diagnosed with late-stage tuberculosis and passed away a few months later. Imtiyaz missed his 11th year while caring for his father and lost contact with Abhyudaya. With no support from his siblings, he persevered, reaching out to photographers for assistant work. One offered him ₹3,000 per month. 

“Living on ₹3,000 was tough, so I started delivering newspapers for another ₹3,000. I survived on ₹6,000 per month for two years. With experience, my earnings increased.” 

Imtiyaz decided to complete his 12th privately, working by day and attending night classes. His college teachers helped him pay for the classes, and he earned his 12th certificate in Commerce. He began freelance photography and bought equipment with his savings, but when Covid hit, he had to sell his camera at a loss to cover expenses. After the lockdown, he took on small projects with rented equipment and eventually landed a break in the textile industry, doing apparel photography. Recently, he shot campaigns for Renault and a German switch company. 

“Recently, I’ve had the chance to succeed again. I’m thrilled that Abhyudaya offered me the opportunity to photograph Hastantaran 2024. Abhyudaya wants its Sitaras to shine, and I see the stars shining! Thank you, Abhyudaya.” 

“I found great friends in my mentors, who always stood by my side. Thanks to Abhyudaya, I successfully earned my master’s degree, which opened many doors for me.” 

Brought up by a single mother since class 1, Siddhi and her siblings moved to their grandparents’ home after their father left. Her mother worked as a housemaid, determined to educate her three children. 

“I attended a government school and was an introvert, fearing judgement whenever I shared my thoughts.” 

In class 7, her school announced an opportunity for students, and despite her doubts, Siddhi was selected to take the exam and interview for Abhyudaya. 

“I was scared but hopeful. When I was selected, I cried, knowing I could ease my mother’s burden.” 

This was the start of Siddhi’s transformation from an introvert to a better version of herself. Although strong academically, Abhyudaya encouraged her to participate in extracurricular activities, including English lessons, computer skills, crafts, and Yoga. 

“Coming from a regional school, it was tough to keep up, but activities like drama and speech, leadership tasks, origami, and sports during summer and Diwali camps boosted my confidence.” 

Through Hastantaran, her mentors encouraged her, even helping her siblings with their studies during their home visits. Today, her brother works at Zepto in Category Management, and her sister works in a pharma company’s finance department. Siddhi now teaches Sunday classes at Abhyudaya. 

“Being on the other side of the table as an Abhyudaya Sitara fills me with immense pride and joy. I cherish the opportunity to share my journey with the new Sitaras, inspiring them and offering guidance based on my experiences.” 

Today, Siddhi is employed at SPJIMR as an assistant in the PGDM Online programme. 

“I am committed to excelling in my role and making everyone proud, continuing the cycle of support and mentorship that Abhyudaya has instilled in me.” 

Prabhat’s journey with Abhyudaya began in 2012, and he fondly recalls Hastantaran. 

“Every year, we were assigned different mentors. During my time at Abhyudaya, I had four mentors. Each of them shared their knowledge and experience with me, but the one I connected with the most was my first mentor, Sujeet Nadkarni.” 

The son of a plumber and a homemaker, Prabhat was a very shy child. He participated in all the activities and events – English, chess, drawing, football, computer classes, and the Diwali and summer camps. These helped him overcome his shyness. During his SSC exams, Abhyudaya provided him with a study room and a healthy environment. Prabhat scored 86%, and with Abhyudaya’s guidance, he chose to pursue a diploma and degree in civil engineering. While completing his degree, he worked as a site engineer for Soham Consulting. However, the lockdown forced Prabhat to leave his job. He graduated in 2021 and decided to start his own business. 

He opened a clothing shop, Shree Mens Wear, in Kolhapur. In 2023, he partnered with his uncle to open a new kids’ wear shop. 

“I am preparing for competitive exams in civil engineering and MPSC. I feel blessed and fortunate to be a part of Abhyudaya. I will be forever grateful.” 

I always say that Abhyudaya was the turning point of my life. It played a crucial role in keeping me motivated and guiding my journey. One of my happiest moments was when I was invited back to teach a dance to the junior Sitaras for their Hastantaran performance. It was a proud moment for me, knowing that, as an Abhyudaya alumnus, they still remembered me.” 

Like most Sitaras, Ruchita heard about Abhyudaya from her school teacher. She was thrilled because she knew that, if selected, it would be a huge help to her mother. She was anxious about whether her name would be chosen. Fortunately, her teacher selected her because she was a good student, enthusiastic, and eager to participate in various activities. “I am an extrovert – I enjoy meeting people, competing in events, and excelling in my studies. This made me stand out.” 

Ruchita began to dream of being chosen. She went for the entrance exam, which included a 

question-and-answer round. Two weeks later, she received a phone call from Abhyudaya with the wonderful news: “I had been selected! My family and I were overjoyed.” 

At that time, they were a family of six. However, only her mother was working, as her father was unemployed and struggled with alcoholism. Just two weeks after this selection, Ruchita’s father passed away. Her mother, a single parent, became the sole support, raising Ruchita and her younger brother. Both children attended a municipal Marathi-medium government school, which made it challenging to keep up with English-medium students. 

“Abhyudaya became a crucial support system for me. They provided Sunday classes and extracurricular activities, which greatly boosted my confidence and helped me improve my English. My passion is dance, and they even supported me in learning Kathak. They also offered computer classes on Saturdays and organised sports days, along with memorable summer camps that I still cherish.” Ruchita went on to excel academically, scoring 81% in her 10th board exams. 

Every year during the Hastantaran event, mentors were assigned. Ruchita’s first mentor, Swati didi, was a constant source of support. Thirteen years later, they remain connected. 

Ruchita began working part-time during her first year of college to support her mother. Throughout her academic journey, she worked in various roles across different departments, gaining diverse skills and valuable experiences. When she graduated, she had accumulated a wealth of practical knowledge that complemented her education. 

“Each day was a struggle as I pursued my goals, but I completed my Master’s in Commerce. This achievement allowed me to provide a better life for my family, and it feels extremely rewarding to shoulder my family’s responsibilities and see the positive impact it has had.” Ruchita was looking for a change in her career and applied to SPJIMR. After a challenging selection process, she was invited for an interview. 

“My family, especially my brother, was excited, and we anxiously awaited the results. Life, however, can be unpredictable; the day I received the news of my acceptance into SPJIMR was also the day I experienced an unimaginable loss – I lost my younger brother. It was as if my world had shattered in an instant.” 

Despite the overwhelming grief and emotional turmoil, Ruchita faced this difficult period with strength. She is still navigating her way through the pain but is determined to emerge stronger. 

“In every low moment, the support of the Abhyudaya programme has been a constant source of encouragement and motivation. Currently, I am working at SPJIMR in the PGDM department. This role has been a testament to my resilience and my dedication to building a brighter future, not only for myself but for my family.” 

The mentoring sessions were awesome. All my mentors shared their knowledge and experiences, encouraging me to balance studies and sports. When I was in class 10, my mentor taught me that if I don’t understand a topic, I should look it up YouTube to learn it quickly 

Hrithik’s journey with Abhyudaya began in 2011. Coming from a Marathi-medium school, he enjoyed computers, English, drawing, crafts, yoga, and football. The winter and summer camps gave him the confidence he needed in school. 

However, when he transitioned from Marathi to English-medium after class 10, he struggled. It took him extra time to grasp concepts in English, and he often fell behind in the syllabus. In HSC/12th board prelims, he did not perform well, which was a significant setback. 

Hrithik’s mother is a homemaker, and his father works as a housekeeper. Following his passion, Hrithik is now a freelance photographer and graphic designer. He has seven years of experience in photography and four years in graphic design. Over the years, he has covered over 200 weddings and 60 corporate events. 

As a freelance photographer, Hrithik independently offers services across diverse projects, including weddings, corporate events, product shoots, and gigs. He also manages Instagram pages, handling everything from capturing and editing images to managing client relationships, marketing, and business logistics. 

“I aspire to establish my own business as a trusted and recognised brand.” 

Hrithik is part of the first cohort of Sashakt, and we hope to help him achieve his dream. 

Pratiksha’s journey with Abhyudaya began in 2010. A shy girl with low confidence, she is now a successful sales professional at Aditya Birla Capital. 

Coming from a Marathi medium school, Pratiksha found it difficult to speak in English. She credits Abhyudaya’s classes for her improved English. Alongside academics, she also learnt Kathak, drawing, singing, and crafts, shaping her into a well-rounded individual.  

Her mother, a single parent, wanted to ensure Pratiksha received a good education. She remains grateful to Abhyudaya for selecting her daughter. Today, Pratiksha is married, her husband works as an IT manager, and she continues to support her mother. 

Pratiksha lives by the song “Hum honge kamiyab, hum honge kamiyab ek din…” as her guiding light. She reflects, “Abhyudaya is not just an organisation or trust for me; it’s the best part of my life because they made me who I am today.” 

Ninad joined Abhyudaya in 2012 when he was in Year 7. At the time, he was excelling academically and enjoying school life.  

“Abhyudaya broadened my perspective and made me realise that life extends far beyond the walls of a classroom. Despite having to wake up early on Sundays, weekend classes with activities such as communication, science, painting, football, and music made it worthwhile.”  

One of the most impactful aspects of Abhyudaya was its mentoring programme. Ninad’s mentors provided him with invaluable insights into life and career choices. Many of them continue to inspire and support him even today. 

“I was fortunate to receive an opportunity to attend the Global Youth Leadership Summit 2016 in the USA through Abhyudaya. This experience further shaped my journey, eventually leading me to get involved with Lions Clubs and later join the Leo Club.” 

Ninad studied in a Marathi-medium school, and everything was going smoothly until he was unexpectedly transferred to a convent school, where the medium of instruction changed to semi-English/English. 

“I remember being very upset about this decision, especially because I wasn’t informed in advance. I missed my old school, my friends, and the familiar environment. However, thanks to Abhyudaya’s weekend classes, I was able to adapt quickly. Many students struggle with the language barrier and find it difficult to grasp subjects when transitioning from high school to junior college, especially in science streams. Looking back, I now realise that changing schools was an underrated yet life-changing decision—one that I was too young to fully understand at the time.” 

Ninad attributes his success in junior college and his ability to pursue engineering to being forced to change schools, which turned English into an asset. 

He completed his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Telecommunication and joined Infineon in 2022. After working for over two years in the semiconductor industry in Bengaluru, he decided to pursue a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and IT from OVGU Magdeburg, Germany. 

“I made this decision because I believe that having in-depth knowledge of the industry you work in is essential for long-term success. Pursuing a master’s degree after gaining work experience has given me a clearer perspective on the field and its practical applications.” 

Ninad’s goal is to successfully complete his master’s degree while enhancing his skills and expertise in the embedded domain.

Manisha, the daughter of an auto-rickshaw driver and a domestic worker, is a shining example of resilience and determination.  

“I believe every student is a scholar with hidden talents. They just need support and a little push to shine. I was lucky to receive that push from Abhyudaya.” 

Initially a shy child, hesitant to speak in public, Manisha gradually built her confidence through weekend classes in English, mathematics, science, and computers. Extracurricular activities such as sports, Kathak, and drawing helped her connect with peers and mentors, allowing her to flourish both academically and socially. 

“At crucial stages—during my 10th and 12th boards and graduation—the Abhyudaya team stood like a shield to help me. Abhyudaya is like Doremon’s pocket… when there’s a problem, there’s always a solution!” 

Today, Manisha thrives as an Assistant manager at RBL Bank.  

“This is just the beginning. I promise not to stop here… the journey continues, and the destination is still ahead.” 

Swati joined Abhyudaya in 2010 as an introverted child who preferred to stay on her own. Swati’s mother is a homemaker, and her younger brother works as a nurse at Sahyadri Hospital. 

 The regular classes and sessions became a safe space that helped her open up and express herself. She learnt classical music and computers—opportunities she wouldn’t have had access to in a government school. Coming from a regional-medium background, the English classes were particularly valuable to Swati.  

“I didn’t realise their true impact until I saw the difference between myself and other kids in my school. Abhyudaya gave me a head start that I didn’t even know I needed.” 

Her mentors played a crucial role in helping her build self-confidence. Swati regrets not having stayed in touch with them.  

“I used to ask them about their career paths and choices, secretly hoping that one day I’d follow a similar journey.” 

After completing her engineering degree, Swati worked at Accenture. Although she initially gave up on pursuing a master’s degree due to financial constraints, she couldn’t let go of her dream. In 2025, she completed her MBA at Symbiosis University. 

“I feel incredibly fortunate to have been associated with Abhyudaya, an organisation that has played a significant role in shaping the person I am today. I’m especially grateful to every staff member at Abhyudaya who made us feel at home and stood by us not only as mentors but also as friends.” 

Swati will be joining Capgemini shortly. Alongside her professional career, she aspires to give back to society, just as she once received support when she needed it most. 

Praffull comes from a single-parent home and benefited from the yoga, English and computer classes provided by Abhyudaya. He was a bright student but was uncertain about his career path.

“Abhyudaya played a key role in helping me decide on my academic path and career. After my graduation, while I was waiting for my first job to begin, Abhyudaya helped me get an Internship at SPJIMR.” 

Abhyudaya provided Praffull with counselling and guidance, helping him gain clarity and confidence in his decisions. Mentors also offered valuable guidance by sharing their own experiences. The financial support extended by Abhyudaya was also a great help to his family. 

“I also met many students who were just like me; some of them have now become my close friends.” 

Praffull is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at I2E, where he develops and maintains a mobile app called ‘Transcend’ for The Bhaktivedanta Book Trust—a leading publisher of traditional scriptures translated into 87 languages, as well as books that interpret and explain these texts.

As the eldest daughter in her family, Dipali’s younger brother and sister looked up to her from a 

young age. She carried the weight of responsibility — to be strong, to set an example, and to meet unspoken expectations, even before she fully understood them. 

Her mother works as a maid, and her father is a gardener. While her father didn’t believe in investing in a daughter’s education, her mother believed in her dreams, even when their world felt too small to hold them. 

The counselling sessions gave her mother the strength to face domestic challenges and rise above them. Today, her mother stands tall, fearless and proud. 

Dipali had a natural interest in academics. She enjoyed studying and always performed 

well in school. But talent alone isn’t always enough; it needs the right direction, support, and belief. Abhyudaya helped her discover her hidden strengths and guided her towards competitive exams that challenged her logical thinking and built her confidence.

Dipali is currently working as an Assistant Manager – Accounts Payable at TORM, where she handles multi-country vendor management and payments. Alongside her professional role, she continues to pursue something very close to her heart. She serves as a volunteer teacher for underprivileged students in Nehru Nagar.  

“For over 9 years now, I’ve been dedicated to teaching and mentoring as a way of giving back to the community just as Abhyudaya once did for me.” 

She has done her distance MBA in Financial Management and is planning to pursue professional certifications in finance.  

“I aspire to grow into a strong, successful, and financially independent individual who can 

support her family with pride and nurture her own life with purpose. My journey is still unfolding, and I’m determined to make it meaningful, both professionally and personally.

For Nooruddin, Abhyudaya gave him three priceless gifts — knowledge, confidence, and belief. Knowledge that sharpened his abilities, confidence that helped him to express himself, and belief that his dreams were valid and achievable.

Nooruddin entered Abhyudaya as a curious young student with big dreams but limited means. What he found here was not just financial assistance but a nurturing environment that helped him grow in ways he had never imagined. Abhyudaya exposed him to opportunities he did not even know existed — from competitive exams such as NTSE, Homi Bhabha, and MSCIT, to specialised coaching that sharpened his academic foundation.  

Through summer camps and weekend sessions, Nooruddin was introduced to a variety of activities – yoga that calmed his mind, chess that taught him strategy, calligraphy and Warli painting that sparked his creativity, and even origami and computer classes that enhanced his skills. 

“These experiences reminded me that true growth lies not just in grades, but in exploring different dimensions of who you are.” 

A turning point came when Nooruddin was introduced to Vedic Mathematics. Fascinated, he attended multiple workshops, eventually compiling different tricks and techniques into a book — which Abhyudaya supported him to write and publish!  

“They called us Sitara — stars. And that name wasn’t just symbolic; they truly saw the light in us and helped us shine.” 

The personal mentorship he received each year was life-changing. Mentors did not just guide him academically; they visited his home, understood his struggles, and helped him find practical solutions.  

“This personal care built resilience in me and taught me that no problem is too big when you have the right support system. I even remember all my mentors’ names — Nilesh bhaiya, Akash bhaiya, and Mayank bhaiya.” 

As the eldest child, Nooruddin often felt the weight of responsibility towards his younger siblings and parents. At home, the focus was on survival rather than long-term planning. He knew he wanted to achieve something meaningful — but the road ahead seemed uncertain and overwhelming. 

“I remember my first HTML class at Abhyudaya. It was there that I discovered the world of computers. That class sparked a love for technology and a curiosity to learn more and eventually led me to become a software engineer.” 

Today, Nooruddin works as a Senior Software Developer at US Bank (through Wipro) as a full-stack developer. Alongside his professional career, he has also embarked on an entrepreneurial journey as a co-founder of a digital start-up focused on cybersecurity. Soon, he will launch a free, open internship portal accessible to students across domains — including data science, machine learning, cybersecurity, front-end and back-end development, and mobile app development. His vision is to create a platform where learning and opportunities are democratised, enabling students from any background to access quality exposure and skills to grow. 

Looking ahead, he aspires to advance his career in the field of Artificial Intelligence, shaping the future of technology and humanity. 

Chandni comes from a humble background—her father drives an auto rickshaw, her mother is a homemaker, and she has four siblings. She moved from a government school in Andheri to a private, English-medium school for her class 10 (SSC), with support from Abhyudaya, including coaching classes.  

“Abhyudaya acts as a bridge between dreams and reality. They not only provide academic support but also offer emotional, financial, and social guidance.” 

As a student, Chandni’s life was a golden period of learning, freedom, and self-discovery. However, behind the cheerful faces and campus fun, she faced struggles that shaped her journey. The transition from school to college brought both opportunities and challenges, and adjusting to this new phase was often overwhelming. Balancing studies with part-time jobs to support herself took a toll on her emotional and mental health. Her mentors were a source of guidance and strength during these times. 

She pursued science and, with excellent scores, secured admission to Bhavan’s College. Chandni went on to earn a BSc in Nursing and has been a registered nurse at Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital & Research Centre for the past three years, where she is responsible for providing patient care, monitoring recovery, and assisting in medical procedures. 

“Being a nurse is both rewarding and challenging. We deal with life-and-death situations. which can be mentally draining. Balancing personal life with a demanding schedule is also a challenge. Despite these struggles, I continue to serve with compassion and strength, making a real difference in people’s lives every day.” 

Chandni is now preparing for exams to work overseas—continuing her journey of impact and growth.
