“Every year, a mentor guided me through academics, solved my doubts, and encouraged me to keep improving. Being called a ‘Sitara’—a star—at Abhyudaya made me believe that I could shine bright in this world.”
Siddheshwar—or Siddhu as he is fondly called—joined Abhyudaya when he was in class 7. Like many first-time Sitaras, he was shy, under-confident, and struggled with English communication.
Siddhu lost his father when he was in class 9, and his mother began working to support the family. Abhyudaya stepped in to cover his school fees and books, ensuring that his education continued without interruption. When he entered college, he took up part-time work to contribute to the household income.
