Siddheshwar S. Jawale

From hard work to fulfilling dreams

“Every year, a mentor guided me through academics, solved my doubts, and encouraged me to keep improving. Being called a ‘Sitara’—a star—at Abhyudaya made me believe that I could shine bright in this world.”

Siddheshwar—or Siddhu as he is fondly called—joined Abhyudaya when he was in class 7. Like many first-time Sitaras, he was shy, under-confident, and struggled with English communication.

Siddhu lost his father when he was in class 9, and his mother began working to support the family. Abhyudaya stepped in to cover his school fees and books, ensuring that his education continued without interruption. When he entered college, he took up part-time work to contribute to the household income.

He also found strength in friendship. Siddhu shared a strong bond with his friends, who supported one another through their studies and motivated each other to do better.

“My school friend and Abhyudaya friend, Vandana, always stood by me during my studies. Whether it was preparing for exams, solving doubts, or motivating me when I felt low, she was a constant support. Group studies with her made learning easier and more enjoyable. Having a friend like Vandana gave me confidence that I was never alone in this journey.”

Today, Siddhu works as a Relationship Manager at Kotak Mahindra Bank, where he manages client portfolios, provides customised financial solutions, and promotes a range of banking products to meet customer needs. His role also involves building long-term trust with clients and ensuring the highest standard of service delivery.

“Going forward, I aspire to deepen my knowledge in wealth management and corporate banking, while continuously upgrading my skills in financial planning, investment strategies, and client engagement. My long-term goal is to grow into a leadership role where I can contribute to business development, drive sustainable growth, and mentor young professionals entering the banking field.”
