Language as a turning point

Abhyudaya came into my life like a Hogwarts letter for Harry Potter; a turning point that quietly changed my direction. Until then, my world felt small.”

For Vikas, the future was something he viewed through the lens of affordability, not ability. Guidance was scarce, and dreaming big did not feel practical. When he joined Abhyudaya, that mindset began to shift, slowly but decisively. Through the Sunday classes, summer camps, and regular activities, he was introduced to new ideas and possibilities. More importantly, he met mentors who believed in him long before he fully believed in himself.

“I still remember writing my first computer programme on my mentor’s laptop. When I hit ‘execute’ and saw the output exactly as I had expected, something shifted inside me. There was a spark in my eyes. For the first time in my life, I was in control; an environment where the variables were mine. That day, I quietly decided to build my career in computer science.”

Abhyudaya did more than offer financial support. It gave him direction, confidence, and the courage to aspire beyond his circumstances.Educated in a Marathi-medium school, Vikas initially felt intimidated by fluent English speakers. The language seemed like a barrier separating him from opportunity. But Abhyudaya’s interactive English sessions were unlike traditional classrooms: engaging, practical, and rooted in real-world use. Gradually, English stopped feeling intimidating and became a tool for expression.

“Today, when I communicate fluently with international clients and developers, I recognise that this confidence was built step by step during those sessions. More than the language itself, Abhyudaya gave me a powerful belief: I can do it.”

With over four years of experience in the Microsoft ecosystem, Vikas is now a Dynamics 365 CE consultant at Evidi International. He has gradually built technical depth across Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure, and aspires to grow into a Solution Architect, not just in title but in his ability to deeply understand business problems, design end-to-end solutions, and lead teams effectively. In the long term, he also hopes to become a Microsoft MVP, specialising in Power Pages and more.

“Giving back to the community that helped me grow is important to me. I want to share knowledge, mentor others wherever possible, and support them in the same way I was once guided.”
